Announcement (3/14/24)

Dear NY UBF Family,

Let us pray that through our study of Nehemiah, we experience personal and communal spiritual renewal.

  • Messenger: Juan Seo

Pray for our upcoming Spring Retreat at Spruce Lake Retreat Center, April 4–6.

Theme: "The Fruitful Life: Growing in Christ"
The purpose of our lives is to bear abundant fruit for God's glory. For this, we must continually grow in Christ. The foundation of our spiritual growth is Christ's redemptive work through His death and resurrection. As we deeply root ourselves in His grace, we grow spiritually. This journey of discipleship in Christ is not burdensome; rather, it leads us to true rest and peace in Him.

Here are the retreat messages and messengers:

  • 1 Corinthians 15:1–11, "The Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus" – Jimmy Kim
  • Matthew 11:28–30, "Take My Yoke and Learn from Me" – Rebecca Han
  • Luke 9:57–62, "The Cost of Following Jesus" – Joshua Bae

Pray for the messengers as they deeply meditate on their scriptures and prepare their messages.

Pray for those sharing their life testimonies: Jacqueline Kim, David Baek, Daniel Kim, and Stephen Gonsalves.

Lift in prayer our various retreat activities:
